Message from the Chairperson, Board of Management

I am honored to serve as the Chairperson of the Board of Management at Kapsabet Girls High School, a place that holds deep personal significance as both my alma mater and a beacon of educational excellence. I joined the Board in 2022, bringing with me the experience of leadership and management as Professor of Moi University, and currently Ag. Principal at Bomet UniversityCollege.

Under my stewardship, the Board of Management of the School has remained steadfast in ensuring stability and progress, fostering both academic excellence and infrastructural growth. Numerous projects have been initiated, some already brought to successful completion, all aimed at creating a vibrant and modern learning environment.

As a church-sponsored institution founded in 1924 by the African Inland Church, Kapsabet Girls High School has always embraced a holistic mission. We are dedicated not only to academic achievement but also to nurturing spiritual growth, cultivating service to humanity, and fostering individual excellence. Our commitment to developing a holistic person is reflected in the strong mentorship programs and school regulations we have put in place. These initiatives are designed to shape the character of our students and empower the girl child to rise to the challenges of the contemporary world. We are molding future leaders who will be role models, both locally and globally.

The success of Kapsabet Girls High School would not be possible without the dedication of our remarkable teaching Staff. Their passion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to duty are the driving forces behind the school's continued excellence. The Board of Management, in collaboration with the Parents Teachers Association (PTA), has always been proactive in ensuring that teachers and students alike have access to the resources they need, creating an enabling environment where both teaching and learning thrive.

I am deeply grateful for the concerted efforts of all our stakeholders, comprising; our partners at the Ministry of Education (MOE), the County Government of Nandi, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and Alumni of the School. Their support has been instrumental in raising the bar for educational standards at Kapsabet Girls High School. Together, we have forged a path that enables our students to receive not just an education, but the tools to succeed and make meaningful contributions to society.

It is my privilege to serve this great institution and to continue working towards our shared vision of empowering the next generation of women leaders.
